This previous week we had a guest speaker in our class, whom discussed the ins and outs of design and branding. Most of the information seemed simple, but it is always good to be reminded of the importance when it comes to branding. What is branding? http://vimeo.com/75961669
Creating value may be the most important component when it comes to branding. This video encourages one to build your brand, to tell your story, and let the world know your expressions. "Tell your story well", as this determines whether or not customers will stay engaged. Lastly, when your story is told, stand beside it and support yourself. Nothing is more appealing than confidence.
Prior to this presentation, I was unaware on the importance of script. Here is a video of Jessica Hische, her job is inventing new scripts day in and day out. http://vimeo.com/60556612
Leslie Moore did an excellent job in explaining what her job consists of. Graphic design plays a big role in marketing today. It is up to us as young business majors to come up with new and innovative ways to catch the attention of customers. Graphic design is a topic we all must consider in the future.
Sincerely,
Zinny
